Information

Down Farm is a working farm on the South coast of Devon in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The farm is also in an area of Special Scientific Interest.
We keep a flock of sheep and a herd of Suckler cows as well as poultry. Otherwise we grow wheat, barley and oats etc.

Come and enjoy bed & breakfast in a 600 year old Devon farmhouse which overlooks Lannacombe Bay. The farmhouse is only 600m from the beach and the South West Coast path. There are a host of good eating places all within easy reach and less than a 10 minute drive. Enjoy the peace and rural tranquility in one of our rooms:-

A family room with a double bed and bunk beds and an en-suite shower room, with views down the valley across the fields to the sea.
A double room with twin beds and a sea view.
A double room with a double bed and en-suite facilities.
All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.

We offer a choice of breakfasts using all local produce with eggs from our free range chickens and our own homemade marmalade and jams.
Relax in the guests’ sitting room which has an open hearth with a wood burner and a colour television.
