The management of our company brings together the expertise and experience of the Ginns Family, Funeral Directors since 1858, and the Packe-Drury–Lowe Family, who have managed the Prestwold Estate for over three hundred years.

Most of us, at some stage in our lives, have to cope with the death of someone dear to us. The choice of a final resting place is an important decision, and an increasing number of people feel dissatisfied with the formality of traditional cemeteries and would prefer a more natural alternative.

Our aim is to develop areas of outstanding beauty, creating a variety of wildlife rich habitats and a fitting memorial to loved ones. We take great care to protect and enhance the existing environment and, at the same time, to gradually develop areas of new woodland and meadow and other habitats by careful management and planting. By choosing a grave here you will be helping to improve the Leicestershire environment in general and local wildlife in particular.

The Natural Burial Company currently has two burial grounds, one at Prestwold, near to Loughborough, and at Scraptoft, east of Leicester.
