My name is Hannah Plant i am a local maxey girl and was brought up on a working farm, i have always had animals around me from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and horses. My first job was working in a Boarding and Rescue Kennels, which i cared for domestic and rescue dogs for five years, whilst working at the kennels i went to college for two years and achieved a National Diploma in Animal Managment. I felt that i needed a new challenge so I then went on to work as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant in Peterborough for two years, i gained a wide variety of knowledge and it was here that i realised that i loved working with animals, especially dogs and found myself in my breaks/spare time helping the Dog Groomer in the back of the vets. So i made the decision to go train as a dog groomer, i went on a four week intensive course in Norwich and qualified with a City and Guilds in professional dog grooming, this is when i opened up Plants Posh Pooches in November 2010.
I am also very interested in Animal Behaviour and would love to get a degree in the near future. In my spare time i love to walk and spend time with my German shepherd Dog Bailey, who has Dwarfism, (picture in photos) i hand reared bailey from four days old as he was rejected from his mother, he is the most fantastic dog. Also i have a horse called Sadie, two Guinea Pigs Una and Ellie who i love to spoil and spend time with.
