Guests have the freedom and exclusive occupation of a warm and comfortable cottage. Two of the cottages overlook the picturesque village green in this conservation village of golden stone. One has two bedrooms consisting of a double and a single and the other a double bedroom. There is also a bungalow which has both a double and a twin bedroom and this also has a superb view of half an acre of garden. All our cottages have a bath and a shower, a lounge with colour TV, and the kitchens are well equipped with an electric kettle, microwave and a fridge.

The price based on two sharing double bedded accommodation is £70 per night reduced to £65 per night for two nights or more. Single occupation of any of the properties is £45 per night. We do offer a special rate for four people sharing the bungalow for more than one night. All stays are inclusive of an English style breakfast, served in our own 17th century dining room.

There is ample off street parking and the village has two excellent pubs for lunch or dinner, both within easy walking distance. This is an excellent area for walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, golf and sight-seeing too. Man-made reservoirs when naturalised can be as beautiful as any lake and Rutland Water is particularly fine, being the largest man-made reservoir in Europe. Close by are Barnsdale Gardens home of the late Geoff. Hamilton.
