Information

Round Meadow Barn is our family home. It is situated a short distance from Hope in the Hope Valley, a beautiful area of the Peak District.

There are three bedrooms which all have fantastic views of the local Derbyshire countryside. We have plenty of off road parking.

We are within easy reach of a number of pubs and eating houses.

Walks begin literally from the doorstep, and guided walks in the local area can also be arranged.

This area is perfect for cycling and mountain biking, and also gliding and hang-gliding.

Another famous local attraction is the different caverns at Castleton: Treak Cliff Cavern, Speedwell Cavern, Peak Cavern and Blue John Mine.

We are also ideally placed for visits to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, with their historic buildings and beautiful gardens.

Bakewell is a well-known nearby market town which holds cattle markets every Monday, a farmers market held on the last Saturday of each month, and is also famous for being the home of the Bakewell Pudding.

The village of Eyam is of historical interest as the “plague village” dating back to 1665, when it went into self-imposed isolation
