The Somerset Hotel delights in giving you a warm welcome to Dorset. There are 6 rooms within the Somerset Hotel, all tastefully decorated to provide you with the comfort of a home from home.
There are three double rooms, all with en suite bathroom. There are two single rooms with the toilet and shower on the landing, as well as one twin room with shower sharing the toilet on the landing. All of the Somerset Hotel rooms are of an excellent standard and all have a colour TV along with tea and coffee making facilities.
The Somerset Hotel is a friendly and welcoming with a large selection of badger ales, lagers and beers where you can relax and have a lovely night enjoying yourselves with such a selection of drinks and chin wagging with the locals!
The pub plays league darts which you are welcome to watch and have a game afterwards to show what you’ve got! Who knows, you might get asked to join in…! There is also a fab night of karaoke on Sundays that you can join in, no matter how good or bad you are, you’ll be greeted with a round of applause to the stage. If you’re not much of a performer, don’t worry – a fantastic round of applause for those who get up is just as much appreciated.
The Somerset Hotel doesn’t have its own car park but there are plenty of car parks nearby. The hotel however is right outside the train station, so you could consider using the train and leaving your car at home, reducing that carbon footprint!
Good homemade food is served everyday at the Somerset Hotel, though the hotel itself is close to the beach and the town centre where there are also lots of restaurants to choose from.
