The Barn is located on the Lincolnshire Fens, with a wealth of local history. Donington, the birthplace of Matthew Flinders, and the historic market towns of Boston, Spalding and Sleaford are nearby.
Boat trips from Boston out into the Wash, with excellent bird watching areas. Or visit Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, nr Skegness. The Fen Rivers for course fishing – Bream, Roach, Pike and Zander. Ingoldmells Fantasy Island and Maplethorpe on the coast – or Kings Lynn, Hunstanton and Sandringham in Norfolk (approximately 40 miles).
